Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Royale Beta Release Date Revealed

Solo, Duo, and Quad modes available.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Twitter account announced that the private beta for the Blackout battle royale mode will be coming out on September 10 for PlayStation 4, with other platforms joining afterwards.

The Blackout battle royale beta will include three modes, solos, duos, and quads, which is playing the battle royale mode by yourself, with a partner, or in a team of four respectively. Activision and Treyarch didn't reveal any more information, though you'll be able to use the same launcher for Blackout you used for the multiplayer beta earlier this month.

Black Ops 4 Blackout is Treyarch's new battle royale mode which will be included in the next Call of Duty game. Players will fight it out on a huge map which includes elements from fan-favorite Call of Duty maps from across the series including maps like Nuketown. The same goes for weapons and characters from the past 10 years of Call of Duty, all of which will be making appearances in Blackout.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is coming out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12.
