Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Perks Teased By Developer

This job has its perks.

There are a lot of rumors swirling around the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. But even if we don't fully know what to expect from the upcoming Black Ops game just yet, Treyarch has at least confirmed that Perks will be returning for the game.

There's been a lot of gossip surrounding Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, specifically in regards to what features the game may or may not have. Last we heard, Black Ops 4 might ditch a single-player campaign completely, but in its stead Treyarch is working on beefing up the multiplayer portions of the game. That means zombie mode, co-op, and even possibly a battle royale mode.

One of the rumors going around apparently was that Black Ops 4 would also be removing Perks, a multiplayer system that lets players gain certain gameplay bonuses like speed or buffs.

A twitter conversation between two Call of Duty fans led to one of them wonder whether or not Perks would even return. That's when Treyarch stepped in to ease their worries and tease some of the new Perks coming to Black Ops 4.

While we can't decipher what these Perks are, players are glad to see them return. Call of Duty: WW2 famously didn't have Perks to the dismay of its players. The Perk system also suggests that Black Ops 4 might not have a class-based, Overwatch-style competitive mode. But considering that there might not be a single-player campaign and a secondary battle royale mode anything is possible.
