Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season Pass - Is There a Season Pass?

Call of Duty Modern Warfare brings with it a ton of changes for the long-running shooter-franchise. So what’s the deal with the Season Pass?

Activision just pulled back the curtain on 2019’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare. It is a re-imagining of the game we know and love, taking the emphasis on difficult subject matters and troubled characters and bringing them into the modern age. There’s quite a lot of changes that have been made since the last game in the Modern Warfare series, and many traditional Call of Duty features have been stripped altogether. In this Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season Pass Guide, we’ll be taking a look at the game’s approach to a Season Pass, and what will be added post-launch.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season Pass

Right off the bat, it’s important to hammer home the fact that there is no traditional Season Pass for Call of Duty Modern Warfare. This is a departure from what we’ve come to expect from the series, though definitely helps to put it in line with games like Overwatch and Battlefield 5.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Post-Launch Content

Given that there is no Season Pass, will there be any post-launch content for Call of Duty Modern Warfare? Well thankfully, yes. The team at Infinity Ward have said that free maps, events, and other post-launch content will come to the game, so there’ll be plenty to chew on once you’ve maxed out your build.
