Call of Duty: WWII's newest patch is now live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Patch version 1.18 adds a new division, basic training, and several other improvements to Sledghammer's World War 2 first-person shooter. The update will be available on PC next week.
The new division in Call of Duty: WW2 is the Cavalry, an objective-focused Division meant to serve on the frontlines. The Cavalry wields a Cavalry Shield, the ability to capture the Domination flags faster, planting bombs faster, and faster wall building (and destroying) in War Mode. The Cavalry even scores mores from objectives, and two assists from the Cavalry becomes a kill. The Cavalry Shield can also be used to sprint and ram enemies at the same time.
There's also some new basic trainings like "Escalation" that lets you aim down sights twice as fast after each kill on SMGs. Double Kills will also refill your magazine. There's also "Wanderlust" which, like Gun Game, will respawn you with a new gun after switching weapons will also give you a new weapon each time.
For multiplayer there are some improvements to the camera, 1v1 matches, contracts, and reticles. UI and Art also received some overhauls along with audio. A full list of changes can be found over at the Call of Duty: WW2 forums.
