Call of Duty: WW2 Made Prop Hunt and Gun Game Permanent Multiplayer Modes

Call of Duty: WW2 Made Prop Hunt and Gun Game Permanent Multiplayer Modes

You can now play fan-favorite multiplayer modes forever.

Call of Duty: WW2 is promoting two game modes into its permanent playlist. Both the Gun Game and Prop Hunt will be made permanently available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Prop Hunt and Gun Game are both incredibly popular with fans and are less conventional than more objective-based, competitive multiplayer modes. For instance in Gun Game, you begin with a pistol and upgrade your gun after each kill. Meanwhile, getting killed by a melee attack will set you back a gun. Prop Hunt lets players disguise themselves as everyday map items like barrels or trees, and must hide out before the enemy team discovers them.

Prop Hunt in particular is incredibly popular with streamers and YouTubers who collect video compilations of their best Prop Hunt hides, or kills. You can check out a collection of the best Prop Hunt gameplay here.

Sledgehammer Games also announced that it will be changing up Gun Game a bit to improve the overall experience. The mode initially had issues with players leaving their games idle, or AFK, but the mode will now boot any player who does not do damage for five minutes.

Gun Game and Pro Hunt are already in the "Featured" playlist for Call of Duty: WW2's multiplayer menu. The modes were originally temporarily available as part of the Resistance expansion, which launched back in January.
