The next Call of Duty: WW2 DLC, titled War Machine, has been detailed and it will be available next month. New to the game will be a selection of new maps, as well as the next chapter in the game's Nazi Zombies mode.
The War Machine DLC is set to come out on April 10 for PS4 players early and includes three new multiplayer maps: Egypt, Dunkirk, and V2. In the Egypt map, players will even be able to navigate around the Great Pyramids, while Dunkirk will feature a "large, open and dangerous beach area flanked by tight interiors." If it's anything like the film (unrelated to the DLC) then we'll be in for a tense treat. V2 is being billed as an "ultra-fast paced map" in a secret rocket test site in Germany.
There is also a new War Mode called Operation Husky which is co-developed by Raven Software. Players will be asked to gather intelligence on the German targets, but in terms of gameplay Operation Husky will introduce aerial dogfights.
Lastly, there will be a new chapter for the Nazi Zombies mode called The Shadowed Throne. "Berlin is burning, and Doktor Straub's monstrous army is hellbent on purging his city of the Allie invaders." So it sounds like the zombie killing will be taken away from Straub's nightmare island and into the heart of Germany.
The DLC arrives first on PS4 thanks to the exclusivity deal between Sony and Activision. War Machine will release on Xbox One and PC about a month later. As a reminder, Sledgehammer Games recently made the Prop Hunt game a permanent multiplayer mode thanks to its popularity. It was originally part of The Resistance DLC, which we have detailed guides for as well.
