Dreams is selling itself as a huge creativity tool with a diverse range of ways to play and build anything you can imagine, and people have already started to wonder if Dreams is PSVR compatible. We'll explain all the details for you right here.
Is Dreams VR Compatible?
Dreams can't be played on any VR headset at time of writing, but that doesn't mean it's going to stay that way permanently. Media Molecule have said multiple times that VR is something they're planning, and while it won't be around at launch, Communications Manager Abbie Heppe revealed in December 2019 that it was planned "ASAP."
It won't, but it's something we're working on currently and plan to support ASAP. (She types as she walks by team members immersed in their VR worlds).- abbie heppe (@abbieheppe) December 6, 2019
When is Dreams PSVR Release?
VR is a natural fit for Dreams, which already supports PlayStation Move and encourages you to survey your creations from multiple angles. However, we don't yet have a confirmed release date for when that will be beyond Heppe's "ASAP" comment, despite the fact that this feature has clearly been in development for a while. Either way, we'll be sure to keep you updated when we know more.
