Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Demo Out Now for Switch and 3DS

A brand new demo is out now for the debut Toad game on the Nintendo Switch.

A demo for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker has been released for all Nintendo Switch and 3DS owners in Europe. A release for North America should be right around the corner, so we'll be updating this page as soon as the Captain Toad demo goes live in North America.

Just below, you can see the announcement trailer for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, which marks the debut Toad game on the Nintendo Switch, even if it is a port of a game that originally released for the Wii U.

If you're downloading the demo of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for Switch, then you'll need 204MBs of free space. The game is also coming to the 3DS however, so there's also a demo out now for the older Nintendo handheld, which comes in at the lesser 62MBs.

After being originally released exclusively for the Wii U, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be releasing for both the Nintendo Switch and the 3DS on July 13, 2018.

He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
