Exclusive: Listen to a New Track From Celeste's Farewell OST

Composer Lena Raine returns for the follow-up to the 2018 Celeste soundtrack.

Celeste’s final DLC will release September 9, adding new stages which hope to tie a ribbon on the main story. There'll be a brand new soundtrack launching alongside the DLC release too, called Celeste: Farewell.

Today, USG can exclusively bring you a new track from Celeste: Farewell, before the soundtrack and DLC launch in full on Monday. You can listen to the new track, called 'In Stasis,' just below, which will be available on September 9 to purchase from Spotify, Bandcamp, and Apple Music. To pre-order the Farewell OST, head here.

Lena Raine worked on the original Celeste soundtrack in 2018, and returns for Celeste: Farewell. Her work on the Celeste OST was nominated for a BAFTA award, and won the ASCAP's Video Game Score of the Year award in 2018.

In other Celeste-related news, the game’s team has just formed a new studio, called Extremely OK Games. Based in Vancouver, the team is made up of Matt Thorson, Noel Berry, Amora Bettany, Pedro Medeiros, Heidy Motta, and Lena Raine.

If you're curious what USG made of Celeste on release, you can head over to our Celeste review. Post-launch, we spoke to Celeste's sound designer about how Celeste was designed with speedrunning in mind.
