Civilization VI Comes to Nintendo Switch in November

Conquest on the go.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. The port for the Switch will be out worldwide on November 16, it was revealed today.

Civilization 6 on the Nintendo Switch shouldn't be a massive surprise, considering the game is already available on both iPad, Mac, and Linux, but it's still a pleasant surprise nonetheless. When the game launches on Switch on November 16, it'll include the following content:

  • Vikings Scenario Pack
  • Poland Civilization & Scenario Pack
  • Australia Civilization & Scenario Pack
  • Persia and Macedon Civilization & Scenario Pack

For those not in the know, Civilization 6 is a strategy game where you can play as one of 24 different rulers around the world, fighting it out for world domination. The Switch version will feature co-op matches, where up to 4 players can compete with or against one another.

As of right now, there's no confirmed price for the Nintendo Switch version of Civilization 6. We'd be surprised if it was priced at the full $60, but make sure to watch this space for more.
