After Many Leaks, Crash Bandicoot: On the Run is Revealed for Mobile
And you can pre-register for the game on Android and iOS.
The Crash Bandicoot mobile game can finally live fear-free of leaks. Earlier today, King finally unveiled Crash Bandicoot: On the Run, and it's coming soon to both Android and iOS devices alike.
You can see the debut reveal trailer for Crash Bandicoot: On the Run just below. Although there's no actual gameplay shown for the mobile game, we know it'll be an endless runner of sorts thanks to a Google Play Store listing earlier this year.
What was shown in the reveal trailer for On the Run was customizable characters, where we can see one blue spotted variant of our familiar bandicoot. You'll also be able to team up and play with others when the game eventually launches, with the second player in your game possibly taking the role of Coco, if the co-op snippet in the reveal trailer is anything to go by.
The news of a Crash Bandicoot mobile game shouldn't come as a huge surprise. Just yesterday we reported that a Twitter account for a game of the same name had tweeted out a teaser trailer for a reveal. Earlier this year, a Facebook advertising post revealed an untitled Crash Bandicoot mobile game slightly ahead of schedule.
Right now, there isn't a launch date for Crash Bandicoot: On the Run, although you can pre-register for the game on Android devices. You've got to wonder if the mobile game will launch before Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, the next mainline entry in the franchise launching on October 2 for PS4 and Xbox One.
