Cris Tales Launches November 17, PS5 and Xbox Series X Versions In Development

The loveable time-bending adventure comes to next-gen consoles.

Cris Tales, a charming time-bending RPG, now has a launch date. It's coming to both current and next-gen consoles later this year on November 17, although that release date is only for current gen consoles, including Nintendo Switch and PC.

You can check out the opening cinematic trailer for Cris Tales just below. It's got an absolutely adorable vibe to the whole thing, and uses time-bending mechanics in a big way throughout its combat.

The actual story of the game follows protagonist Crisbell, and her journey of vengeance upon an evil Empress. There's not much detail to go on as to why Crisbell is going after this archvillain, but she's the last hope of her world against the encroaching darkness, and she'll be going on the adventure surrounded by charming companions. For a better look at how Cris Tales' turn-based action battles unfold, check out the extended gameplay demo just below.

There's even a demo of Cris Tales available right now. This demo was actually available earlier in 2020 to download through Steam and GOG, but has now been updated with a newer version of the game.

Cris Tales launches November 17 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. At an unspecified later date, it'll be coming to both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, but there's no word yet on whether Cris Tales will be part of Xbox's Smart Delivery program for the next generation console.
