Cyberpunk 2077's E3 Demo Ran on a $2,000+ PC
I hope you have two grand sitting around.
CD Projekt Red has offered up the PC specifications for the behind-closed-doors demo of Cyberpunk 2077 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018. The information was releases in a detailed list posted on the Cyberpunk 2077 Discord by junior community specialist Alicja Kozera. The outlet noted that the gameplay demo itself looked to be running at 4K resolution at a solid 30 frames per second.

Here's the full specs:
- Processor: Intel Core i7 8700K at 3.70GHz
- Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming
- Memory: GSkill Ripjaws 5, 2x16GB 3000MHz CL15
- Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
- Storage: Samsung 960 Pro 512 GB M.2 PCIe
- Power Supply: Corsair SF600 600W
This is a top-end PC, but it's not the most high-end box you could pick up. That would probably the limited-edition Intel Core i7-8086K with two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti cards in running in tandem via Scalable Link Interface (SLI). I'm sure someone out there is running that rig with three 4K curved monitors or something absurd. To be so blessed.
Heading over to PCPartPicker, I decided to see how much CD Projekt Red's demo PC would cost. Most of the choices were straightforward, just taking what was listed. When it came to the video card, I went with a Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme, since it has a higher core clock than some model, while not being much pricier. Our total price tag—not counting all the PC parts you'd need, like a CPU cooler or monitor—comes to $2,115.69.

So if you want to be ready to run Cyberpunk 2077 in what CD Projekt Red considers show-capable conditions, you need to be ready to open your wallet to pick up these parts. The game does not have a current release window.
