The follow-up to War and Death's adventures is coming this year.

THQ Nordic today announced that Darksiders 3, the sequel to the once-defunct Darksiders franchise, finally has a release date. The game will be launching on PlayStation, Xbox One, and PC on November 27, 2018. Darksiders 3 follows the continuing adventures of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: the first game followed War, the second game involved Death, and this game stars their sister Fury.

Darksiders 3 is being developed by Gunfire Games, a studio created by some former employees of original Darksiders developer Vigil Games.

Players can pick up the Standard Edition for a cool $59.99, or spend $79.99 on the Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game, 24 hour early access, and two downloadable content releases planned for post-launch.

If you want to get physical, you can spend $149.99 for the Collector's Edition. The package includes the game, the official soundtrack, a Fury figurine, an artbook, a Steelbook case, and a Premium Box. There's also the monstrous Apocalypse Edition for a whopping $399.99. That release includes everything in the Collector's Edition, figurines of Death, War, and Vulgrim, a Four Horseman amulet, and a Wall Scroll.

Props to Darksiders for having a female Horseman of the Apocalypse, but I'm still annoyed that the series replaced Famine and Pestilence with Fury and Strife. Like, really? You couldn't think of anything interesting to do with Horsemen who represent starvation and plague, so you just go with angry and more different angry for yours?
