Dead Island 2 Lives, as Twitter Account Confirms the Dead Are Still Set to Rise Once More
The official Twitter account says Dead Island 2 is still coming.
If you've been waiting all this time for Dead Island 2, don't worry: the game is still alive and kicking. Or undead as the case may be. The official Dead Island Twitter account confirmed to a fan that the game is still coming.
Dead Island 2 is still in development and we will share more on this at a later stage.

Fans are hungry for any news on the game. Back at Gamescom 2014, publisher Deep Silver showed off Dead Island 2, the sequel to its surprisingly successful zombie game. Dead Island developer Techland moved on to develop Dying Light instead, forcing Deep Silver to turn to Yager Development for the project.
Deep Silver pulled Yager off the game in 2015 and a year later Sumo Digital was revealed as the new developer. The publisher occasionally reminds folks that the game is still in development, as they did last year.
"Dead Island 2 is in development at Sumo Digital, and we are excited by the progress the team are making with Deep Silver's most successful IP. When we are ready to share more information, we will," the publisher said at the time.
Dead Island 2 has no release date of course, as we don't even know what Sumo Digital's version of the game looks like. The studio is also working on Crackdown 3, Team Sonic Racing, and Project Nova, a planned first-person shooter set in the EVE Online universe.
