Bungie Outlines All Destiny 2 Content Leaving in November
Here's everything leaving Destiny 2 in November.
Previously, we knew that Bungie would be cycling out certain Destiny 2 content when the Beyond Light expansion launches this November. Now we have a much better outline of exactly what content is going to be leaving the game in just a few months time.
In a blog post yesterday on Thursday, Bungie addressed the content that would be taken out of Destiny 2 in November. We knew that Io, Mars, Titan, Mercury, and Leviathan would be entering what Bungie's calling the "Destiny Content Vault," but now we know that the Red War, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind-related story missions will all be taken out of the game.
Replacing this will be an "expanded Guardian origin story" which will take place in the Cosmodrome, a returning location from the original Destiny that's debuting in Destiny 2 with the Beyond Light expansion in November. The Forsaken and Shadowkeep expansion storylines will still be available to play through, but this new story in the Cosmodrome is aimed at introducing newcomers to the story and mechanics of Destiny 2.
There's actually a lot of Strikes, Crucible maps, Crucible modes, Raids, and Exotic quests moving into the Destiny Content Vault in November. Below, we've outlined all the aforementioned content that will no longer be accessible once Beyond Light launches.
Strikes:
- The Pyramidion
- The Festering Core
- Savathun's Song
- Strange Terrain

Raids:

Once Beyond Light launches for Destiny 2 on November 10, all the content listed above will be removed from the game. So if you haven't yet got your hands on any of the Exotic weapons we've listed above, or completed any of the aforementioned Raids, you're going to want to get on that before November comes around.
