Bungie released a new trailer today for Destiny 2: Forsaken but used the opportunity to also announce the Destiny 2: Legendary Collection which will include the base game and all the major expansions up until Forsaken.
This means that the Destiny 2: Legendary Collection will include Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and Forsaken all in one collected package. It will retail for $59.99 but doesn't not include the $34.99 Destiny 2 Annual Pass which includes three mini-expansions post-Forsaken. Players can purchase an even bigger bundle that includes the Legendary Collection and Annual Pass for $99.99.
Forsaken is 2018's major Destiny 2 expansion which includes the new PvPvE mode Gambit, and a new Raid area called the Dreaming City. It will be the hub for Raids in the future as well, finally taking Raids away from Leviathan. The Forsaken story will also introduce a new area (Tangled Shore) and enemy class (Scorn). You can check out our E3 2018 preview for Gambit here.
Forsaken and the Legendary Collection for Destiny 2 will both be released on September 4 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. For more on Destiny 2's upcoming content pack, check out our Destiny 2 Forsaken guide with all trailers, news, and release info.
