Destiny 2's Raid Goes Live Today: Here's What You Need to Know

To those about to die, we salute you.

The day foretold in legend has come! A week out from Destiny 2's launch and we're here preparing for raid content. The game's first raid, currently called Leviathan, goes live today. What's in the raid? We currently don't know, though everyone will rush headlong into the content today, if they're strong enough.

Leviathan will be launching today at 10AM PT/1PM ET. If you're looking to tackle it, Destiny 2 design lead Luke Smith has already confirmed that you'll need to be power level 260-280 in order to even take your shot.

"[Leviathan], when we looked at it, it was about building a place you believe is real. That was our priority," Smith told Mashable about today's raid content. "It's unlike anything we've done. The team is incredibly talented; it is a joy to see them work."

We're stepping into uncharted territory here, having polished off all the Strikes and the current Nightfall content. Are you ready?

If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
