Destiny 2 Trailer and Website Confirms September 8 Release Date and PC Version

So far, everything Bungie gives us lines up with the leaks.

As promised, Bungie kicked off the Destiny 2 hype cycle with a new trailer all about the game. The trailer shows Commander Zavala and Cayde-6 recounting the fall of the City and the Tower. This seems to be how Bungie is explaining the fact that gear isn't transitioning over to the sequel. The bad guys destroyed all your stuff. Sad.

Here's Bungie's official synopsis for the game from the website, which also confirms the game is coming to PC:

"Humanity's last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city's Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity's scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home."

The Destiny 2 Collector's Edition contains a whole host of stuff.

Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
