Destiny 2 Fall Expansion and Year 2 Reveal Livestream Set for June 5

Destiny 2 Fall Expansion and Year 2 Reveal Livestream Set for June 5

Bungie is all set to reveal its DLC roadmap for Destiny 2 within the next week.

Destiny 2 has received two DLC expansion packs already since it launched back in September 2017, but Bungie will be outlining the full Year 2 of new content in early June.

On May 31, the official Destiny Twitter account revealed that Bungie will be hosting a livestream for Year 2 of the online shooter on Tuesday, June 5. It's in this reveal event that we should expect to hear more about the mysterious third DLC expansion pack for the game, set to release this fall for Destiny 2.

So far, we don't know a lot about this third planned DLC pack. Bungie has previously stated that it will bring a new mode to the game, and it's been dubbed the "Comet" expansion by fans since earlier this year. It looks to be filling the same role as the Taken King DLC did for the original Destiny, providing tons of new content for players in a large DLC drop.

Over on Bungie.net, September has been earmarked as the release window for the third expansion for Destiny 2. Aside from this info about the third DLC pack, Bungie will also be outlining improvements to the Faction Rallies event, as well as overhauling the way that seasonal vendor rewards function from exchanging Faction Tokens in Destiny 2.

We can expect to hear about all this and presumably more, when Bungie hosts its livestream for Year 2 of Destiny 2 on Tuesday, June 5.

For now though, head over to our Destiny 2 Warmind guide, for all you need to know about the second DLC expansion for the shooter which released early in May, 2018.
