Deus Ex GO is the Next Game in the GO Series
Square Enix Montreal's strategy series takes on Deus Ex next.
Square Enix Montreal has announced the next title in the GO strategy game franchise, following the success of Lara Croft GO and Hitman GO. Just in time for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the studio is releasing Deus Ex GO. The title is based around infiltration just like its big brother, tasking players with using augments, combat, and hacking to survive.
"With Deus Ex GO, we really want to take the GO series to another level. Building on the learnings of Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO, our goal is to push the experience a step further in terms of visual treatment and game design in order to bring you a fresh, reimagined puzzle experience that celebrates the franchise." said Square Enix Montreal studio head Patrick Naud.
Square Enix Montreal is also adding an in-game puzzle designer to Deus Ex GO, which is a series first. The puzzle maker will let players design new levels and share them with their friends. The feature is expected to launch a few weeks after the initial release.
"Our team has also been hard at work designing a smart, game-changing new feature that will allow you to expand your game experience: the puzzle maker," said Naud.

Deus Ex GO is coming this summer for iOS and Android devices. For a limited time, the GO Collection on the Apple App Store will be 25 percent off, down to $5.99.
