Devil May Cry 5 is Getting a Photo Mode

Revealed at PAX West in Seattle.

PAX West 2018 took place over the past weekend in Seattle, Washington. During the show, Capcom hosted a livestream dedicated to Devil May Cry 5.

You can see a replay of the full panel in the YouTube video just below, thanks to Gematsu. At around the 21 minute mark of the panel, the Devil May Cry 5 dev team revealed that a photo mode will be arriving in the game.

Aside from the new photo mode, the team also revealed new Devil Breaker arms that Nero can equip in Devil May Cry 5. We saw the Overture, Gerbera, Punch Line, Tomboy, Ragtime, Helter Skelter, and Rawhide arm types, but we only experienced the first 'Overture' arm for ourselves, when we played Devil May Cry 5 back at Gamescom 2018.

Devil May Cry 5 is set to release worldwide on March 8, 2019, and it's shaping up to be one of the more impressive games of early 2019. For everything else you need to know about Capcom's upcoming sequel, head over to our Devil May Cry 5 everything we know guide.

Staff Writer

Hirun Cryer is by far the most juvenile member of USgamer. He's so juvenile, that this is his first full-time job in the industry, unlike literally every other person featured on this page. He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
