Disco Elysium is certainly a cerebral game, where hunting high-tier loot and min-maxing your stats is a distant second to remembering your own past or saving the city from a class war. Still, old habits die hard, and the victim in your murder investigation was wearing a lovely set of ceramic Fairweather T-500 armor before various people came and stole it. We'll show you where you can get all four pieces across the course of the game and complete the "Find All Armor Pieces" task.

Where Are the Armor Pieces in Disco Elysium?
Finding the armor pieces isn't as simple as finding the whole set stuffed into a box somewhere, its four component pieces spread across the map. There's a helmet, a set of greaves, gauntlets and a cuirass/chestplate. Each one has different stat effects, like all clothing, and can be equipped once found.
Where to Find the Armor Boots
The boots are the easiest to actually locate, still hanging on the corpse when you first see it, and from which you can infer the existence of the rest of the armor. They grant +2 Authority and -1 Composure. Be sure to examine them, so your character knows that they're worth hunting.
The trick here is to retrieve them once Kim is asleep. Before you send the corpse to processing, visit the body when he's gone to bed and try to remove the boots. When asked how you want to do it, choose to twist them off. Ick.
Once that's done, you still need to wash all the corpse bits out of them before you can put them on. Go to the kitchen of the Whirling-in-Rags Hostel (it's usually open in the afternoon) and interact with the pot on the stove to boil them with vinegar. They'll go to your inventory, clean and wearable - though Kim might not be impressed if you wear them in front of him.
Where to Find the Armor Gauntlets/Gloves
It's not possible to retrieve the gloves until Day 3 at the earliest, as they're being kept past the water lock by the pawn shop. Before that, go speak to Cindy the Skull up at the Northern Point of Martinaise, and ask her what she knows - she'll point you towards a child in the fishing village. Once the water lock is fixed, head across it to the village, then to the left-most house in town with two children playing outside. Go in and talk to the girl, Little Lily, and she'll admit that she hid the gloves under a sandcastle. She's a good kid and will let you have them for nothing, so all you need to do now is go outside, around the back and interact with the sandcastle to get the gauntlets. They'll give you +2 Interfacing when you wear them, and Kim won't mind either.
Where to Find the Armor Cuirass/Chestplate
This is the hardest piece to get, with only a small window of opportunity to find it, very few hints, and needing both passive and active skill checks. Like the gauntlets, it'll have to be Day 3 at least - cross the water lock and go as far North-West as you can, where you'll find Lena's husband and a friend of his, Gary the Cryptofascist. Persuade them to go back to the Whirling-in-Rags, then go back and meet them there once they do. Save before you go into the building if you really want the armor! Whatever happens, Gary leaves the game afterwards, so this is your only moment to get him to admit he's taken the cuirass.
Speak to Gary, but make sure you have a perception skill of 10 at least! There'll be a passive skill check where you hear a clink - he's wearing something under his shirt. After that you have to frighten him with an active Composure check. It's a difficult one, but made easier if you went into his house for Evrart Claire earlier. Yeah, he's the one who owns the racist caricature mugs. Frighten him with that fact in dialogue, and it'll make your check easier. Kim won't mind, the guy is a rascist after all. If you pass, he'll crumble under the pressure and hand over the chest piece, which gives +1 Pain Threshold, +1 Volition, and -1 Empathy.
Where to Find the Helmet
The Helmet is found late in the game, likely Day 5 or further, depending on your speed of progress. Cuno admits to throwing it into the ocean if pressed, but what he doesn't know is that it didn't stay on the shores of Martinaise, instead floating out to a distant island. At some point you'll have to go there as part of the main plot. There's a long section of dialogue, during which you'll meet a very unique… friend? We won't spoil, but you'll definitely know who we're talking about when you meet them. They leave behind a crate, which contains two items, one of which is the Helmet. It's an ugly-looking tin can, but while you wear it you'll have +1 Half-Light and -1 Suggestion.
