
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Announces Closed Beta Test Sign-Ups
Here's how to sign-up for the closed beta.
Today, Square Enix announced the dates for the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Closed Beta Test which will run from August 25 through September 3 on the PlayStation 4.
North American and Latin American players have until August 20th (11:59 pm PT) to register for the Closed Beta Test. You can sign up right now for a chance to get into the beta on the PlayStation Store. Square Enix says the company will email selected applicants with more details
In addition, Square Enix revealed the 14 character roster during the beta to play as in gameplay modes such as "Class Match" and "COM Battle." The characters include:
- Warrior of Light from Final Fantasy
- Firion from Final Fantasy II
- The Onion Knight from Final Fantasy III
- Cecil Harvey from Final Fantasy IV
- Bartz Klauser from Final Fantasy V
- Terra Branfrord from Final Fantasy VI
- Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII
- Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy VIII
- Zidane Tribl from Final Fantasy IV
- Tidus from Final Fantasy X
- Shantotto from Final Fantasy XI
- Vaan from Final Fantasy XII
- Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII
- Y'shtola from Final Fantasy XIV
So basically you'll have one character from each numbered Final Fantasy game to play as for the beta.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is the sequel to the two PSP Final Fantasy Dissidia games, which took Final Fantasy characters and pit them against one another in a brawler/fighting game. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is slated for an early 2018 release on the PlayStation 4.
