Does Fall Guys Have Split Screen and Couch Co-Op?

We look at whether you'll be able to play locally with your friends on Fall Guys below.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a smash hit, with thousands of players wobbling their way to victory every day. However, many want to know if you can play locally with friends and family, so we'll answer the question below: "does Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout have split screen and couch co-op?"

Does Fall Guys Have Split Screen and Couch Co-Op?

No, Fall Guys currently does not have split screen and couch co-op, meaning that players will require separate consoles and an internet connection to play together. In a Reddit AMA prior to release, developers Mediatonic were asked about the game's split screen functionality and replied thusly:

"We'd love to have split screen but at some point during development we had to cut it in order to get the game finished in time! It's a HUGE undertaking from so many disciplines and we decided it would be better not to spread ourselves too thin and make sure the game we delivered is up to par. That said, you never know what might come post launch! I'd certainly love to play split screen and it gets requested TONS by the community."

When Will Split Screen Be Added to Fall Guys?

There's not a lot that can be taken from this, except that split screen is not necessarily off the table altogether. We also likely shouldn't expect to see it added for at least a few months, as the same AMA also says that Mediatonic has lots of plans following the release of the game, but this is speculative. We'll be sure to update this guide as soon as we know more.
