DOOM VFR Price and Date Potentially Revealed on Amazon

DOOM VFR Price and Date Potentially Revealed on Amazon

Like all things, Amazon has the answers.

The first thing Bethesda showed off tonight at their E3 presentation was Fallout VR and DOOM VFR, two previously announced Bethesda VR projects. While the new trailers gave a good look at the upcoming VR titles, Amazon might have leaked the $29.99 price and maybe a potential December release date.

Both Fallout VR and DOOM VFR were previously known entities but tonight's press conference failed to reveal any further information like price or release date. In comes Amazon with a bare bones listing with a price and release date. Of the two, the price seems pretty reasonable given that DOOM VFR is a re-release of an existing game. The date however could be a placeholder. Then again, both the price and the release date could be place holders.

Bethesda is promising the full Fallout 4 and DOOM experience with their VR ports, but it's hard to imagine 100 plus hours in VR without wanting to literally die. So it will be interesting to see how an experience like Fallout translates to VR. DOOM on the other sounds rad.

We will update this story accordingly when more details emerge.
