Downtime for Fortnite Season 6 Has Now Begun

Fortnite Season 6 will be kicking off later today, on September 27. Epic has temporarily taken the game offline to implement a new patch, before the next seasonal event launches.

Just below, you can see the announcement of the downtime for Fortnite, as made through the official Fortnite Twitter account yesterday. Downtime for Fortnite is nothing new, especially with a brand new season for Battle Royale about to launch, bringing in tons of new cosmetics and challenges with it.

Epic hasn't revealed how long Fortnite will be down for, but once the downtime has been completed, Season 6 will launch. In other Season 6-related news, there's some new additions for the new seasonal event that we already know about, like the brand new skin just below.
