At Evo 2017 over the weekend, Bandai Namco and Arc System Works showed off Trunks as the newest addition to Dragon Ball FighterZ. Apparently they weren't done with the reveals though: in the latest issue of V-Jump magazine (via Ryokutya2089, translation from Gematsu), Piccolo and Krillin have been confirmed for the title.
Krillin comes complete with his Kienzan (Destructo Disc on our shores), which can be powered-up and is completely unblockable. That's obviously going to be a setup for some wicked combos. Piccolo and Krillin join a roster that already includes Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Cell, Frieza, Majin Buu, and Trunks, all in their Dragon Ball Z incarnations.
Dragon Ball FightersZ will have a similar online lobby to Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator and Rev2, offering chibi characters wandering in a 3D space. In FighterZ, those chibi avatars will be able to fight against one another.
Dragon Ball FightersZ is coming for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2018. There is a closed beta for the game coming sometimes this Summer, with registration for that beta opening on July 26.
