Dragon Ball FighterZ's Last Character is a Playable Android 21

She's not just for the Story Mode anymore!

The final fighter in Dragon Ball FighterZ will be its final boss it seems. According to the latest issue of V-Jump obtained by ShonenGamez and translated by Gematsu, the last character will be Android 21. The character was previously shown as a key figure in the game's Story Mode, but her playable version sports a whole new look.

Like her future counterpart Cell, Android 21 can absorb the abilities and likenesses of other fighters. Her overall look recalls Majin Buu, including Innocent Buu's love for sweets, but she also has a tail, not unlike Frieza or Cell. She looks very much like a lost Dragon Ball Z movie villain.

Her absorption ability is actually a big part of her playstyle. With her special move, Tasting Cut, Android 21 can absorb an opponent's energy and then use their skills. She'll probably be a strong contender on veteran rosters, depending on how extensive her copy ability is.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is launching on January 26, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
