Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Leads January's Best Sellers, Despite Falling Behind FighterZ

Goku keeps getting stronger.

It seems like audiences can't get enough Goku. The NPD Group's game sales report for January 2020 came out today, and standing at the top of the month's best sellers was Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Kakarot isn't the first big launch for Dragon Ball; Kakarot comes in third for franchise launch month sales, behind Budokai and 2018's Dragon Ball FighterZ. But this is the first time Dragon Ball Z has topped the charts, as FighterZ beat Kakarot in sales but still came in second in Jan. 2018. I guess y'all really do want more Gokus.

In other intriguing developments, Ring Fit Adventure came in ninth overall in sales for January, its highest to date. Those New Year's resolutions have to start somewhere, right?
