EA's NBA Live 19 Demo is Available Now on PS4 and Xbox One

Create your own character and start your rise.

A free demo for NBA Live 19 is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. This is a demo for EA Sport's basketball offering for the year and includes a first look at The Rise career mode, and live events. All progress will carry over to the full game launch on September 7.

The Rise is the story portion of The One career mode and the demo starts with a "star-studded" 3v3 match that includes famous players like Allen Iverson, Joel Embiid, Candace Parker, and James Harden. Players will create their own custom character using the full character creator, including an option to create female basketball players. There's even the option to use the Create Your Court design tool.

There's no word on what the Live Events portion of the demo will look like, but Live Events are billed as part The Streets, and include different rulesets and challenges with the chance to win rare items.

NBA Live 19 is competing with NBA 2K19, 2K Sports' annual basketball offering. From what EA Sports is saying, they're hoping to create a competitive basketball experience to go head-to-head with NBA 2K. For more, check out our NBA 2K19 guide to learn more about 2K Sports' basketball sim.

NBA Live 19 is coming out on September 7 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
