Engineer Rigs His House to Respond to Songs from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Feeling cold? Nothing a few bars of Bolero of Fire won't fix.

In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Link can use his instrument (hee-hee) to control the very elements of Hyrule. Even the sun will rise and set on command if Link plays a few notes.

Ocarina of Time's Link Is (Maybe, Probably) Based on Leonardo DiCaprio

Allen Pan, electronic tinkerer extraordinaire, can't use his own ocarina to make it rain whenever he wants. However, he did manage to wire the gizmos in his house to respond to certain audio cues from Ocarina of Time.

The Sun's Song turns on his lights. Bolero of Fire turns up the heat. Minuet of Forest waters his plants, and the Song of Healing restores everything to its default setting.

Pan's YouTube channel, Sufficietly Advanced, is packed with similar electronic experimentations. You probably never knew you wanted to see them, but you'll be glad they exist.
