It's hard to keep everything under wraps ahead of the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo. There's so many people handling so many materials that sometimes things fall out. That's what has seemingly happened to Atlus, as two site links (Link #1, Link #2, Link #3) have revealed that Etrian Odyssey 5 and Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey for Nintendo 3DS will both be receiving Western localizations.
Etrian Odyssey V will coming to 3DS in the West as Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond The Myth, with a planned release window of Fall 2017 according to the test materials.
Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey will be known in English as Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux. It will be coming a little bit later, with an early 2018 release window.
Finally, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, a remake of Radiant Historia for 3DS, will carry its original title over to its Western release in early 2018.
These aren't official release windows from Atlus. They're leaked, so anything can change between now and Atlus' official announcement. But if you were wondering if either game was receiving localization efforts, wonder no more.
