Eurogamer Assetto Corsa Championship: Canada

Eurogamer Assetto Corsa Championship: Canada

The Canadian race is on the way, but before that, here's the SimracingZone Virtual Studio of the Mexican GP.

After an interesting, but difficult race at Imola, the Mexican race was a successful second round of the Eurogamer Assetto Corsa Championship, producing great action on track. Despite a less than perfect start, we were awarded with an amazing sim racing show for almost 70 laps.

The win by Tuomas Thatela of Supernova Racing Team, was a superb display of his driving skills, but we cannot hide the chase put up by an equally fast Hany Alsabti, with a last lap drama that could have changed the podium of the race. The third place of Jackub Charkot for the Ragnar Feeder Simulator was also excellent, and the strategy of Kevin Siggy, along with solid drives from Massimo Masetti, David Greco and Pierre Potel were also notable.

The third episode of the SimracingZone Virtual Studio sums up what happened during an exciting Mexican GP.

Also the qualifiers have also been amazing thanks to the solid drives by many racers. In particular, the last two minutes were very exciting for David Greco and Thuomas Tahtela, who fought until the last gasp of time available. Tahtela won it by only 15 milliseconds over the italian just few seconds before his provisional pole on an amazing banzai lap. You can see the highlights of the mexican race through the SimracingZone.Net Virtual Studio and rest assured we will have a lot to talk about.

After that, you’ll be ready for the second streaming of the event on the Twitch channel of tonight at 11:35 PST/2:35 EST available here or by watching the Twitch player below. We will restream the race also from our homepage of Facebook. We hope you’ll have fun for the entire broadcast and catch you in two weeks time for the second recap of the championship.
