Everyone Loves Yuri, Fire Emblem: Three Houses' New Sewer Boy

The prettiest Ninja Turtle.

The artists in the Fire Emblem community are an insanely talented bunch. New characters were just revealed for Three Houses yesterday, and you're goddamn right the community has already fallen in love with one of them in particular.

I'm talking, of course, about Yuri. The newcomer with the luscious purple hair looks downright magical, even if these four new students that make up the Ashen Wolves house do live in the sewers underneath the Garreg Mach Monastery.

Look at the stunning artwork the community put together in less than 24 hours. The DLC announcement for the Fire Emblem: Three Houses Expansion Pass was snuck out under the radar yesterday straight after Nintendo revealed that Byleth would be arriving in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the fifth and final DLC character of the current Fighter Pass.

Yuri is part of the new Ashen Wolves house, a secret fourth house due to be added next month in February. But fear not, you won't have to undertake a new 80-hour playthrough to meet the new students: They're actually part of their own campaign, which puts a different spin on the usual route through Three Houses.

Can we talk about Yuri's eyebrows for a second? Those two fine lines are works of art in their own right. The sewer underneath Garreg Mach must be incredibly good condition and well lit if he's able to get his eyebrows looking this good on a daily basis.

Also, how do people draw this quickly? It used to take me at least a full day to sketch out something that vaguely resembled Ruka's drawing of a monster in the latest Terrace House. (Oh god, am I worse than Ruka at drawing?)

But anyway, back to Yuri. Yes, I know what the word twink means. No, I did not know what the word twink meant before seeing it in the caption below.

Thank you, Fire Emblem community, for your amazing artwork over the past six months. If you want to see some of the best art the talented community has to offer, to follow @FireEmblemArt on Twitter.

The Ashen Wolves DLC launches for Fire Emblem: Three Houses on February 13. The only way to access the DLC is through purchasing the Three Houses Expansion Pass, which retails for $24.99.
