Fall Guys Sets a Start Date for the Medieval-Themed Season 2

You know what that game needs? Siege warfare.

Get ready to be bad at Fall Guys again. With the second season on the way, Mediatonic will be rotating in new stages with different obstacles, so say goodbye to the precious advantage your well-honed skips on Slime Climb gave you, and wave hello to the big physics-enabled blocks you'll need to push around and climb on. As of this morning, we have a launch date for Season 2: Tuesday, Oct. 8.

As revealed back at Gamescom Opening Night Live, the new season will be medieval-themed. That means free skins for knights and mages along the progression track, and new stages themed after forts and the like, but Fall Guys will be keeping its bright cheery aesthetic all the same. Think less Robin Hood and more those bright yellow castles that Lego used to sell.

From now until the Season 2 launch, Mediatonic is doubling fame points for all Fall Guys matches. If you haven't played in a while and need to finish up your first season unlocks, this should help you catch up.

Do remember, you may need to reacquaint yourself with the current stages a bit after the mid-season update introduced some tweaks. On PC, Fall Guys also got an update that adds new Epic Games anti-cheat integration.

Fall Guys is still only out on PC and PS4 at the moment. Keep an eye on the Fall Guys Twitter for more updates on the game, but be warned: you'll also be swimming in a deluge of memes.
