Fallout 4: Ad Victoriam - Liberty Prime

Fallout 4: Ad Victoriam - Liberty Prime

Proceed with the Brotherhood’s special project.

This guide will show you how to complete the Brotherhood of Steel Quest: Ad Victoriam. Players must have completed the previous faction quest Spoils of War in order for this quest to become available. Follow this guide to put the Brotherhood’s plans into motion.

If you have stumbled upon this guide too soon and have not yet completed the previous faction quest, then head over to the Brotherhood of Steel Quest: Spoils of War first before continuing with this guide.

Speak to Proctor Ingram

At this point you should be well aware of the Brotherhood of Steel's special project, Liberty Prime. In fact, having access to this Brotherhood of Steel quest means that you have already obtained the Beryllium Agitator needed to power the war machine. Return to Boston Airport and speak with Proctor Ingram to discuss the final steps of the plan.

Plug in Beryllium Agitator

Thanks to your help, Liberty Prime is ready for action. It’s time to take the fight to the Institute. All you need to do now is insert the Beryllium Agitator into Liberty Prime to power up the war machine. Ascend the scaffolding leading to the top of Liberty Prime’s head. Insert the Beryllium Agitator into its back port, then return to the control panel where Proctor Ingram is standing.

Activate Power Transfer Switch

Proctor Ingram and Elder Maxson feel that you should do the honors of activating the war machine after all that you have done for the Brotherhood of Steel. Face towards Liberty Prime at the control panel, and press the Power Transfer Switch. Enjoy the amusing boot up sequence as you wait for the full system analysis to finish.

Follow Liberty Prime

Liberty Prime has been programmed to head straight to the Institute’s base of operations. You are tasked with escorting the massive machine on its trek towards the target destination. Follow close behind Liberty Prime as it stomps through the streets of Boston, eliminating any enemy resistance. If you wish to avoid contact with the irradiated river, consider taking the bridge route instead. Come equipped with a good amount of ammunition to prepare for the fight ahead.

Defend Liberty Prime

Liberty Prime will do most of the work. All you need to do is protect it from incoming enemy attacks along the way, ensuring the precious war machine makes it to the target location in one piece. You may need to wade through some irradiated waters, but hearing Prime’s colorful commentary makes it worth the effort. However, it may be a good idea to put on your Power Suit just in case.

As you and your fellow Brotherhood soldiers approach the target destination, prepare to fight off a large group of Synths. Clear the area of hostiles, and wait for Liberty Prime to breach through the ruins of C.I.T.

Enter the Institute

Liberty Prime has cleared the way for you and the other Brotherhood soldiers to easily infiltrate the Institute. Drop down the hole, and speak with Elder Maxson to proceed with the next mission.

Once you drop into the hole, the Ad Victoriam quest concludes, and the final main quest Nuclear Option begins. Continue on to the Brotherhood of Steel Quest: The Nuclear Option, or return to our Fallout 4 Walkthrough and Guide.
