Far Cry 5 Season Pass Holders Get Far Cry 3 Classic Edition for Free

Far Cry 5 Season Pass Holders Get Far Cry 3 Classic Edition for Free

Vaas really wants to catch up on old times with you.

Ubisoft revealed the contents of Far Cry 5's Season Pass in a press release distributed today, and there's a surprise amongst the extras.

I'm not even talking about the DLC that sends you to Mars to fight alien hordes. No, the real gem in Far Cry 5's Season Pass is Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, a current-gen release of the series' most celebrated entry. If you have the Pass, you can travel back to Rook Island and struggle against Vaas, his cronies, and maybe a jaguar or two.

Far Cry 3 Classic Edition is a free download for Far Cry 5 Season Pass holders, and it's available four weeks before it becomes a standalone release this summer. PC players will get Far Cry 3 Classic Edition if they purchase the Gold edition of Far Cry 5

Other Far Cry 5 Season Pass content includes:

  • Dead Living Zombies: Fight against hordes of the undead in B-movie scenarios.
  • Hours of Darkness: Travel back in time to fight against the Viet Cong
  • Lost on Mars: Go to Mars and give hostile aliens what for.

Far Cry 5 comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 27.
