EA Sports games like FIFA and possibly Madden are experiencing server issues. EA has even disable Match Creation in FIFA Ultimate Teams until the problems are resolved.
"Hey FIFA Fans. We are disabling Match Creation in FUT while we continue to investigate the connectivity issues being reported in FIFA/FUT. Thanks for your understanding while we work through this. Further updates to come when available," the @EASPORTSFIFA Twitter account tweeted moments ago.

The problems seem to have occurred hours earlier as @EAHelp notified Twitter users that there was some trouble with their services at around 11:30 am PT.

No word yet on when servers might be fixed, or when servers will return online. On the subreddit for EA FIFA are asking for improved servers after experiencing instances of lag and disconnect but considering reports that servers could be affecting other EA Sports titles, this could be a problem beyond just EA's FIFA services.
In the meantime, you can check out our FIFA 19 FUT guide for a good round-up of FIFA's latest collectible mode while servers remain offline.
