Square Enix is getting ready to bid a final farewell to Final Fantasy XV. The last Active Time Report for Final Fantasy 15 airs on March 26.
Square Enix announced its latest—and last—Final Fantasy 15 livestream on its website earlier today (thanks to Gematsu for the translation). The presentation airs on March 26 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. JST. That's March 26 at 4 a.m. PDT (7 a.m. EST), so if you want to give Final Fantasy 15 a proper send-off, wake up early. Square Enix already has a YouTube stream set-up for the event.
Needless to say, it might not be worth your while to wake and tune in unless you're fluent in Japanese. Previous Active Time Reports were eventually subtitled and posted on Square Enix's official YouTube channel, and we imagine that'll be the case for this last hurrah as well.
However and whenever you tune into Final Fantasy 15's last Active Time Report, you can expect to learn more about the game's last bit of DLC, Episode Arwyn, as well as the upcoming Final Fantasy 15: The Dawn of the Future novel.
Square Enix originally planned for Final Fantasy 15 to endure as a service for a while longer, but the game's director, Hajime Tabata, announced his sudden departure from Square Enix last year. Tabata's sudden exit led to Square Enix cancelling all DLC episodes scheduled after Episode Arwyn. Tabata has since established his own game studio.
