Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Corneo's Vaults Locations

There are three Corneo Vaults to track down in Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Here's where to find them.

There are plenty of side activities to take on while playing through Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Most of them pop up right at the end, giving you a chance to mop up some extra missions before taking on the final one. One of the last side missions you'll unlock is the Don Corneo's Secret Stash mission. It tasks players with finding three vaults, each hiding an assortment of treasure. You'll definitely want to track them down, so we put together this guide on exactly where to find them. We'll also give you a hint as to what you'll find inside.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Corneo's Vaults Locations

There are three Corneo Vaults to find as part of the Corneo's Secret Stash mission. You'll get little hints as to where to find them at the start of the mission, but even so, finding them can be a little tricky. Broadly speaking, they are found in these three areas:

  1. Sector 5 Steel Mountain
  2. Sewers
  3. Collapsed Expressway

Now that you know roughly where to find them, we'll give you the opportunity to find them yourself. If you'd rather just know exactly where they are, keep reading.

Corneo's Vault #1 - Sector 5

The first of Corneo's Vaults can be found in the Steel Mountain area of Sector 5. We've included a map below, showing exactly where it is. Note the symbol that is used to represent vaults on the map. Each vault will also be labelled as such.

Corneo's Vault #2 - Collapsed Expressway

Next up you'll need to head to the Collapsed Expressway. You'll want to enter the tunnel from the Sector 5 side, the vault is very close to the entrance, near a Chocobo Stop (more on those here). Just walk up to the door and unlock it.

Corneo's Vault #3 - Sewers

This vault is easily the toughest to get to. You will need to return to the sewers. If you don't know how to do so, check out this guide LINK. Once you're down there, head to the location shown on the map below.

How to Get the Key to the Vaults

To get the key to Don Corneo's Vaults you'll need to have reached the point just before the final mission. This is when a bunch of final sidequests pop up. You'll need to start the Don Corneo's Secret Stash mission and then find Kyrie at the church (more on that here). She'll give you the key.

What Do You Get For Opening the Vaults?

Corneo's Vaults each contain an item to give the Sector 7 refugees. There's also a bunch of crates to smash, and therefore items and Moogle Medals. You will even find Materia and Gil, so it's all well worth your time.
