Final Fantasy 7 Remake Release Date Set for March 2020

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Release Date Set for March 2020

Final Fantasy 7 Remake has a trailer and release date before Square Enix's big E3 presentation.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake has a release date, and it's sooner than anticipated. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming out on March 3, 2020.

Square Enix dropped the trailer for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trailer tonight after a Final Fantasy 7 Orchestra concert. The new footage mostly shows new cinematics that will be in the game, and is very light on actual gameplay.

But the big surprise is at the end of the trailer when the release date was revealed. Final Fantasy 7 Remake was first announced in 2015, and it's been a little unclear how far along development on the remake has been. However, it'll be out in less than a year.

The trailer arrives a day before Square Enix's E3 2019 press conference. We'll likely see more about Final Fantasy 7 Remake then, including new gameplay details, release info, and more. No word on whether the launch date refers to the whole game, as it's been previously reported that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released in parts.
