Final Fantasy 7 Remake's New Art Teases an Incredibly Anticipated Section
Also, it's Aerith's birthday!
Square Enix has released brand new key art for the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 remake, and it looks stunning. The artwork shows Cloud, Tifa, Barret and more, looking out triumphantly on a bridge.
You can see Cloud (not in a dress this time), Aerith, Barret, Tifa, and finally Red XIII in the key art below. Every single person in this cast is too damn good looking, even Red XIII looks pretty glamorous.
Combining incredible visuals, stunning world-design, a glorious musical score, seamless strategic action-based combat and a captivating cast of characters – #FinalFantasy VII Remake is almost upon us.

We won't spoil anything about the nature of the picture, but it comes at the end of the pretty action-packed segment of the original game. It's one that I personally can't wait to play, and it should be one of the standout sections of the entire remake.
In the background, you can see the ominous Shinra Headquarters building jutting into the sky. A good chunk of the remake should be taking place here, especially from the footage revealed in the trailer below earlier this year.
As the official Final Fantasy 7 Remake Twitter account also posted, it's Aerith's birthday today! Her official birthday is February 7 (hey, just a few days after mine), and if you had to pick one thing to give Aerith for her birthday, what would it be?
As it's February 7th we hope you'll all join us in wishing Aerith a very happy birthday today! #FF7R pic.twitter.com/XnbpjRu2yn

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is certainly shaping up to be one impressive game from Square Enix, from the footage revealed and from what we've played ourselves so far. It'll be launching for the PS4 on April 10, 2020, and has an exclusivity period for the console of exactly one year. We still haven't heard anything about that leaked demo for the remake, though.
