Final Fantasy XV Gets Chibi With A Mobile Pocket Edition

Final Fantasy XV Gets Chibi With A Mobile Pocket Edition

The PC isn't the only platform getting Final Fantasy XV.

Square Enix is apparently looking to keep making money on the Final Fantasy XV brand. Following yesterday's announcement of Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition, the publisher today announced Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition for Android, iOS, and Windows 10 devices.

The Pocket Edition tells the same story as its console and PC counterparts, but changes the presentation to something more cartoonish. It also has its own take on FFXV's team-based combat.

Since the game is a mobile title, instead of a single download, FFXV: Pocket Edition will be told over the course of ten episodes. The first episode will be available to download for free this Fall, but Square Enix has yet to offer pricing on subsequent episodes.
