Remember that chibi version of Final Fantasy 15 which was released for mobile? Well, Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition is now available on both PS4 and Xbox One, and it's on sale until later this month.

Originally available on iOS and Android, this mobile retelling of the main events of Final Fantasy 15 is now available on consoles too. You can see the launch trailer for Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition just below.

As we mentioned earlier, there's a special sale on to celebrate the launch of the game, with Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition being discounted by 40% on the Xbox Store and PSN Store until September 13. Although the Nintendo Switch version hasn't launched just yet, Square Enix revealed that the same 40% discount will also be applied to the Switch version upon release.

Final Fantasy 15 is a bit of a touchy subject here at USgamer. We've had many a heated Slack debate over whether the game is ultimately good or bad. What do you make of the game that had a storied development saga? Let us know in the comments below.

Staff Writer

Hirun Cryer is by far the most juvenile member of USgamer. He's so juvenile, that this is his first full-time job in the industry, unlike literally every other person featured on this page. He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
