Fire Emblem Direct, January 18: How to Watch It, and When

Here's how and when you can watch today's Nintendo Direct presentation about Fire Emblem's future.

Nintendo is hosting a Fire Emblem-related Nintendo Direct today (January 18), so if you haven't done so already, clear your mind and then refill it with images of dragons, teamwork, and the revered blade Falchion.

You can watch the event at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM GMT on Nintendo's dedicated Nintendo Direct video feed, or pop in on its official Twitch channel.

Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright Nintendo 3DS Review: Blood Will Tell

We're likely to see a few games during this presentation. The biggie is Fire Emblem Heroes, a Koei-Tecmo musou title (i.e. one of those "swing your weapon into wave upon wave of enemies a la Hyrule Warriors) that was teased at Nintendo's Switch presentation on January 13.

We'll also probably learn more about the Fire Emblem mobile game that's been in the works for a while now. There's also a rumor that we'll see some variation /compilation of Fire Emblem Fates for the Switch, but that's all Pegasus wishes and dragon dreams for now.

We're sure to have plenty to say about the event after it happens, though, so check back in with USgamer when all's said and done!

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. See our terms & conditions.
