Nintendo announced Fire Emblem Three Houses at today's Nintendo Direct. Unlike Fire Emblem Warriors, this is a mainline strategy Fire Emblem RPG for the Nintendo Switch.
The trailer shows off a bevy of new gameplay elements with Fire Emblem Three Houses, including massive scale battles, a dynamic camera that closes in on the action from the world map, and each unit is in control of a mini battalion. Check out the trailer below.
Fire Emblem Three Houses was previously announced, but this is our first good look at the next mainline Fire Emblem game. Recent entries into the Fire Emblem series have modernized the games with bigger battles and an emphasis on social relations. And while we don't see social relations in Fire Emblem Thee Houses, the battles have become even bigger.
