Tea Time With Rhea is Coming to Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Tea time with the Almighty One? Sounds pleasant.

The big Cindered Shadows DLC pack for Fire Emblem: Three Houses is almost here, but Nintendo is already thinking ahead. It appears the DLC itself will be getting future updates, one of which will let you have tea with the Archbishop herself.

In the latest Famitsu Weekly, new details about the Cindered Shadows DLC have been revealed. Thanks to dedicated Famitsu translator Ryokutya2089, we know that Nintendo has free updates planned for the DLC pack itself. One of these updates will let you initiate tea time with Rhea, where you'll be able to sit down with the Archbishop herself for a spot of tea. Charming.

Elsewhere in the Famitsu issue, Cindered Shadows is reportedly "8-10 hours long." This is the expansion that adds in a new fourth house after all, so it's set to be a pretty meaty expansion, and is supposedly a step up in difficulty from the three main campaign routes in the base game.

We knew previously that you'd be able to recruit the four Ashen Wolves students from the Cindered Shadows DLC house to the Golden Deer, Blue Lions, and Black Eagles in the main game. The Famitsu article posits that you'll be able to unlock even more things to carry over to the main game as you progress through Cindered Shadows, although there's no indication as to what these things are.

The Cindered Shadows DLC pack should be launching relatively late tonight, on February 12. As there's no way to purchase it without the Expansion Pass, you'll need to fork out $24.99 for the whole pass, including Cindered Shadows.
