For All You Loners Out There, Ghost Recon Breakpoint Will Let You Have A.I. Companions

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is light on new details, but shows off a lot of fresh footage.

You won't suffer playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint solo, unlike with Wildlands, now that Ubisoft has announced that solo players will be able to have A.I. teammates at their side. The announcement came during today's Ubisoft E3 2019 conference, alongside a bite sized Terminator content teaser and two longer trailers.

One trailer today showed actor Jon Bernthal (The Punisher) scowling at a group of masked bad guys. The other showed the co-op hijinks that made its predecessor Wildlands such a commercial hit. The final teaser of the afternoon was the shortest of them all though: the familiar Terminator music, with a pair of glowing red eyes. This is the second Terminator announcement of the week, as Gears 5 will also have something Terminator-related. Jon Bernthal also talked about the game itself in vague terms with his adorable dog at his side, who did not seem as enthusiastic about the Tom Clancy game.

During the long Breakpoint presentation, Ubisoft also announced a new community program called Delta Company, which encourages players to "express and share their passion" through means like fan art and cosplay. Breakpoint will have a beta kicking off in September 5 ahead of its release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia on October 4.
