Fortnite Battle Royale Starter Pack Revealed - Includes 600 V-bucks

Get a healthy start at Fortnite Battle Royale with a new Starter Pack.

So, you want to get into this Fortnite: Battle Royale thing the entire world is on about, but you don't know where to start? Epic Games plans to give you a hand-up this week with a $4.99 USD Starter Pack that includes an exclusive skin, unique "Back Bling," and 600 V-bucks (Fortnite's purchasable hard currency).

The Starter Pack launches tomorrow (March 27) and be available through April 1. Redditor "Souce10" posted a pic of the deal on the Fortnite subreddit, which Fortnite Intel confirmed. Fortnite Intel also points out the deal was leaked once before, but it appears this time the deal is…the real deal.

Think of it as Hunger Games' Cornucopia, but you won't get sniped by Sector 2's professional killers while running for it.

The deal is probably worth picking up for the V-bucks alone, since your $4.99 USD technically gets you 100 free V-bucks. Given Fortnite Battle Royale's popularity, V-bucks are valuable, coveted, and a surprising point of conflict between Battle Royale players and fans of Fortnite's single-player Save the World campaign. In fact, Epic Games' runaway property runs deep.
